Local Representative

The basic goal of the USA program is to promote increased cultural awareness and acceptance among different nations of the world by giving high school students the opportunity become acquainted a culture different from their own. USA’s Local Representatives build solid foundations and create stable atmospheres for the host families and students to help ensure a peaceful and beneficial experience for all involved.

USA Local Representatives must be: Mature, Organized, Responsible, Outgoing, Patient, Reliable, Dependable, Respectful, Hospitable, Driven, Honest, Sincere, Caring, Good Role Model, Fair.

Each year, thousands of international students come to live and study in the U.S. As Christians, it is our goal to see that the international students whom we sponsor live in Christians homes and are exposed to God's love on a daily basis. Their participation in a Christian family offers a great opportunity for the Holy Spirit to move in a mighty way and open the students' heart to an intimate relantionship with Christ. Imagine the influence that is possible upon the students' return to their home country.

Duties & Responsibilities

Serves as the local personal contact between each student and USA upon arrival to the host city; coordinates and conducts host family orientation meetings; responsible for maintaining regular monthly contacts with students, host families, and schools in his local area of placement; responsible for monthly evaluation of students and ongoing assistance and support.

Home Country Representatives

USA’s Home Country Representatives serve as a vital link in the student exchange process. Their primary purpose is to recruit eligible prospective students to participate in the USA program and to serve as the bridge between USA the natural parents. The Home Country Representatives begin a process of preparing the youth of today to “Step into the future” with great rewards.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for screening, selecting, and coordinating all international exchange students in their home countries; conducts pre-departure orientation meetings and provides assistance to the students and their natural families.
